The Grand Hyatt Washington is in the heart of the nation’s capital. It is only a few blocks from the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, and the Washington Monument. It offers comfortable rooms and suites, two restaurants, and fitness and business centers, as well as meeting and event spaces.
Hotel Accommodation
A block of rooms has been reserved for ACCU members at the Grand Hyatt Washington at a special group rate of $229 per night, plus a $10 destination fee. To reserve your room, please use the reservation link and enter group code G-AC27. Please make your reservation by January 8, the room block cutoff date. Rooms may fill up before the cutoff date, so we encourage you to book early.

How do I register for the meeting?
What is included in the cost of my registration?
You will receive a name badge and program when you arrive on site at the registration area located on the Constitution level (3B).
Pre-conference Attendees
With your name badge, you have access to attend your registered pre-conference sessions.
Annual Meeting Attendees
With your name badge, you have access to attend all of the plenary sessions, the concurrent sessions, and the opening reception along with the banquet and awards presentation. Kindly note that we have added a Women Executive Leaders Track which requires no additional registration.
Most Meals Included
ACCU will provide breakfast on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and lunches along with several coffee breaks throughout the weekend.
The Saturday Opening Reception is open bar with dinner. Dinner on Friday and Sunday is on your own.
Can I purchase my registration when I get to the meeting?
Unfortunately, all registrations must be purchased by January 12, 2027, due to planning purposes.
How can I buy additional tickets for the opening reception and awards banquet?
Registered Annual Meeting attendees are able to attend the Opening Awards Banquet as a part of their registration. However, there is an opportunity to purchase additional guest tickets to attend the banquet.
Guest tickets are available for an additional fee of $300 (USD) per ticket. If you desire a guest ticket, please email ACCU to process your request.
When will the program become available?
The program along with the schedule for the Annual Meeting is posted online as soon as it is finalized.
Speakers will be posted on the website along with an announcement on our social media platforms as soon as they are confirmed.

How can I find out who is scheduled to present and when?
The Annual Meeting program will be available on the Association website to access meeting materials and information on speakers at your fingertips!
Hard copies of programs for the Annual Meeting are also available on-site at the Registration Desk with information about each of the sessions and other details.
Stop by the Registration Desk on the Constitution level for additional information or contact us at ACCU in advance of the event with any questions.
Will presentation materials be made available to Annual Meeting participants?
It is up to the individual presenters to determine which presentation materials are shared with attendees.
Following the Annual Meeting, any session presentation materials that ACCU has received permissions to post will be made available on our website and within our member portal for ACCU members to access.
How can I attend a pre-conference?
Each pre-conference has been planned carefully by Catholic higher education leadership planning committees from across ACCU member institutions.
At the 2027 Annual Meeting, we will offer the following pre-conferences for Catholic higher education leaders at our member institutions:
- Institute for New Presidents (Friday)
- Chief Academic Officers (Saturday)
- Chief Mission Officers (Saturday)
- Senior Diversity Officers (Saturday)
- Senior Student Affairs Officers (Saturday)
Annual Meeting pre-conferences require additional separate registrations and fees beyond the Annual Meeting registration in order to attend.
Cancellations received on or before January 12, 2027, are entitled to a full refund minus a $50.00 administrative fee, per registrant. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made after January 12, 2027.
What should I wear to the Annual Meeting events?
The dress code at the ACCU Annual Meeting events is business professional for all attendees. Attire for Annual Meeting pre-conference attendees is business casual.
Meeting space temperatures can vary so we recommend layers for your comfort.
Who can attend the opening reception?
All ACCU Annual Meeting registrants are able to attend the Opening Reception and Awards Banquet as it is included as part of the registration.
Please note that anyone attending an ACCU Annual Meeting pre-conference that would like to just attend the opening events and not the full conference are able to purchase a banquet ticket for an additional charge of $300. Please contact ACCU to make this purchase.
Does ACCU have policies for when a participant falls ill?
If an attendee is feeling unwell before the Annual Meeting programming begins, we recommend staying home to protect your health and the health of other attendees.
In the event you are unable to attend, please inform us via email regarding your attendance at the Annual Meeting.
Per our policy and because of our contract with the hotel, no refunds will be issued after January 12, 2027. Any refunds issued before January 12, 2027, will incur a $150 cancellation fee.
