Black Lives Matter Plaza just outside the Annual Meeting venue, the Capital Hilton Hotel Thank you for joining us for the 2023 ACCU Annual Meeting. Below are some helpful tips about navigating your trip and possible activities while in Washington, DC.*

The Capital Hilton Hotel is closely situated near museums, historic landmarks, and the food/entertainment areas. It is a very short ride from Reagan National Airport as well as Union Station (Amtrak).

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to hotel.

  • Hotel direction: 5 miles north; roughly a 20-minute drive.
  • This hotel does not provide shuttle service.
  • Estimated taxi fare: $18 (one way)

 

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
  • Directions to the hotel from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
  • Airport phone: (703) 572-2700
  • Hotel direction: 26 miles east; roughly a one-hour drive.
  • This hotel does not provide shuttle service.
  • There is no direct Metro access from Dulles to DC.  To access Metro,  pay $5.00 to get on the Silver Line Express Bus, which will take you from the airport to the end of Metro's Silver line.  From there you can access the Metro system.  Closest stop on the Silver line to the hotel is Foggy Bottom - GWU.  

 

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)

Metro is the rapid transit system in Washington, DC. Use the Trip Planner below to travel by the city's Metro Rail system. Farragut North on the Red Line is the closest station to the Capital Hilton.
