Student Success

Catholic higher education resounds with good news stories! A 2013 ACCU report shows the high level of degree attainment among Catholic college and university students. And beyond the research lie stories of real achievement and growth:

  • A theology class at the University of San Diego led this student to serve in South America, ultimately earning a Peace Corps award for excellence.
  • This army veteran and Wounded Warrior with a passion for serving others received a prestigious government internship through the University of St. Thomas (TX) Center for International Studies.
  • An IT major and his brother reflect on the community and opportunities they found at Donnelly College, after being forced to leave their home in Juarez City, Mexico.
  • Read about this St. Leo’s University alumna’s commitment to serve others and her non-traditional path to completing a master’s degree in social work.
  • This alum credits the strong sense of community and international student population at the College of St. Scholastica as the foundation for his career focused on development programs in Sub-Saharan Africa.
