Presidential Spouses' Track
For the 2012 Annual Meeting, ACCU is excited to announce the addition of a Presidential Spouses' Track.
The 2012 ACCU Annual Meeting will take place January 28-30 at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, DC. For a registration fee of $150, all ACCU member presidents' spouses are welcome to attend all scheduled events of the Annual Meeting, including receptions, meals, and program sessions, with the exception of the Presidential Track on Monday morning. In addition, there will be three events specifically designated as the Presidential Spouses' Track:

Integrating Catholic World View: Best Practices for Presidential SpousesDate and Time: Monday, January 30, 2012, 9:00-10:50amPresenters: Dr. Tom Reynolds, Vice President for Mission, Regis University; Sr. Kati McMahon, Special Assistant to the President for Mission and Planning, Gwynedd-Mercy College; Jeanie Hayward, Presidential Spouse, Mercy College of Ohio; Bob Seurkamp, Presidential Spouse, Notre Dame of Maryland UniversityThis concurrent session will focus on helping spouses develop a more thorough understanding of the role they can play in assisting presidents to further Catholic mission on our campuses. The first half will provide input and the second half will be an opportunity for further conversation amongst attending presidential spouses.

New Presidents and Spouses Reception and DinnerDate and Time: Thursday, January 26, 2012, Reception beginning at 6:00pm followed by dinner at 7:30pmSpouses of ACCU presidents attending the Catholic Mission Institute for New Presidents are invited to join us at the Ritz-Carlton prior to the 2012 Annual Meeting for camaraderie and a chance to discuss the opportunities and challenges of being a presidential spouse.
