Thank you to everyone who made the 2017 ACCU Catholic College and University Chief Academic Officers Conference such a success!

Chief Academic Officers Conference

The CAO plays a unique role in advancing Catholic identity among academic staff. Each year, ACCU offers a conference specially designed for these academic leaders. Stimulating speakers and roundtable discussions at this gathering help attendees address contemporary needs.

Complementing ACCU’s 2017 Annual Meeting, the most recent Chief Academic Officers Conference included discussion of:

  • Managing conversations during divisive times
  • Bringing academic leaders and mission officers together to explore good practices in managing inclusion and unity
  • A keynote address by James F. Keenan, SJ, Canisius Professor, Department of Theology, Boston College, titled Bringing Ethics into the University: Race, Gender, Accountability, and Athletics
